Marble box with an intricate Gol-o-Morgh motif
Gol o Morgh; Symbol of Love and Divine Grace
Gol o Morgh (Flower and Bird) is one of the most well-known motifs in traditional Persian miniature painting.
These elements symbolize the beloved and the lover, and beyond visual art, they hold a special place in Persian mystical and romantic literature.
About Marble Artworks
All Charva marble items are made from high-quality, authentic 3mm-thick marble sheets.
The designs on each piece are created using various techniques, including watercolor painting, calligraphy, miniature art, and more. After completion, five layers of polyester protective coating are applied to ensure the durability of the artwork in different environments and climates.
Since the natural veining of each marble sheet is unique and all artworks are entirely hand-painted, no two pieces are exactly alike—each one is truly one of a kind. The artist’s signature is also included beneath the design, adding authenticity and long-term value to the piece.
